Daniel Greenhaus, BS, NREMT, EMS (I), Owner/Director of Operations
A veteran of public safety for over 20 years, Dan has worked as an EMS professional, a firefighter, and a 911 dispatcher, holding instructor certifications in all three disciplines. Prior to relocating to North Carolina, he worked for several years in the New Brunswick and Newark New Jersey EMS systems.
Dan is currently a Firefighter/EMT with the Wake New Hope Fire Department in Wake County NC, as well as the department’s Public Information Officer. He also works as an EMS instructor within the North Carolina Community College system, regularly teaching EMS initial and continuing education courses.
Dan is a regular contributor to several public safety websites and trade journals, such as EMSDirector, EMSWorld, and EMS1. He has presented at regional and national firefighter, EMS, and healthcare conferences all over the US.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University, a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Management from The University of North Carolina, and is currently completing his Masters in Business Administration. He holds certifications in Firefighter Instructor II, Fire Officer II, EMS Instructor, Technical Rescuer, and is an ICS Instructor by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Management.
In addition to his years in public safety, Dan has several years of IT experience working in the finance and healthcare industries. Additionally he holds IT certifications in CompTIA A+, CySA+, ITIL, and is pursuing his CSAP.
